Kampar Food-Hunt Trip
When deciding where to go, our group had quite a clear idea on which food stalls we should be pursuing. We ended up choosing Ding Feng Tau Fu Fa and Ming Chu Bah Kut Teh. Since our group members are all Bakuteh lovers, we do not have any objection towards that decision. To be honest, how can anyone not love Bakuteh? However, some did question the decision for choosing Tau Fu Fa as it is considered a simple dessert to make.
Despite it seems easy to prepare a Tau Fu Fa, it requires skills and passion to make a ‘smooth’ Tau Fu Fa. Also it is nothing without the syrup, syrup brings the best out of it. Some simple dishes can fully represent the true skills of the chef, in this case the Tau Fu Fa sold in Ding Feng is definitely a showcase of excellent skills and experience. That is why we choose Ding Feng, a stall that focus on soy milk product, also makes one of the best Tau Fu Fa in Kampar.
On the other hand, the time-honored Ming Chu Bah Kut Teh is well-known in Kampar. Probably one of the oldest Bah Kut Teh store in that area, has attracted not only adults but also teenagers. Its location is kind of awkward as it takes fairly long to reach even from new town, not to mention about old town. But it didn’t stop people from tasting the mighty Bah Kut Teh. It just proves how good the Bah Kut Teh is, and also provides us the reason to pay a visit.
Reason why we choose this two shop.
